Hey I'm Ken Lane and I run Men 40 to Fit with help from other men from the team.

Our first goal is remove the negative thoughts and feelings that will keep you from changing your life.

After struggling for many years to get healthy, I'm finally starting to have some success.  Like you, I have many before pictures and I am still working on the afters but together we can get there.

I'm sick and tired of all the fitness magazines showing men with 20" biceps, six pack abs and an 8 week plan to get you there.  HA!  Reality is that is not going to happen and they are trying to sell you something useless.  

My goal is to be leaner, healthier but still able to enjoy a beer and some wings while watching Saturday night hockey or Sunday night football.  I'm not going to change all my meals to half a cup of nuts and call that a dinner.  I am aiming to build a healthier person, not a 2% body fat, magazine cover physique.  

You want to know how this change came about?

 My wife asked me what I wanted for my 40th birthday and the realization for me, was to be fit.  I also knew there was nothing she could buy or do that could accomplish this for me, I have to do it on my own.

This is the main reason I have started this site.  It is to track my journey along with other men in the same boat who are serious about making a change.  Don't worry, we will fall off the wagon from time to time but together we can get back on and succeed.

Let's build this from a one man project to a community of people who want to live, healthier, longer lives.
